TUNNEL KILN MOVED ON THE AFC Site
Brisbane & Wunderlich’s No. 1 KILN was the first one of its type in the world. In 2012 there is no sign of either the No. 1 Kiln or the No.2 Kiln which used to sit side by side on the site prior to the redevelopment.
In early December 2010 the huge task of cutting and moving the kiln to another position on the site commenced. The pieces of the No.1 Tunnel Kiln are to be reinstalled on the site. SEE VIDEO
