  • Hi Sue – wow $1,000 for a damaged one – they are pretty rare and don’t come up on ebay that often.
A few of our members have one.
The rarest of them is the free standing ornament.
If you ever see one in an op shop snap it up for me please!!!!!!
Price for a wall eagle in undamaged condition would be about $1,800 upwards.
Once again it all depends on who is selling it and how many people want or could afford to buy it.
    Best of luck.

  • Hi Hayden
Beautiful vase and yes it appears to be a Wembley one.
If it is not marked on the base it could have had a sticker which has come off over the years.
As far as I know it is called a bee hive vase.
I can only suggest that you keep an eye out on ebay or ring around the antique dealers in your State.
They price would be anywhere between $100 & $200 depending on where you get it and the asking price.
    Best of luck

  • Hi Tony – no the bookends came with a stamp on the base or a sticker and sometimes both so if it came with the sticker that may have worn off by now.

Hi Mollie yes there is a market for the bookends – a pair have just sold on ebay for around the $750 mark.

Depending on the bidders you could go higher or not make quite that much.
    Good luck

  • Can anyone help me. I have been tryin to find a wembley ware lustre vase the same as the one shown in the picture.

Does anyony have any information on this? Anything that you know may help in my search. Correct name/places to locate/rarity ect. Im pretty sure it is wembley but i could be wrong.

Im trying to find one for my mother as a present so i would be willing to buy.

  • Does any Wembleyware collector have a Wall Eagle in their collection? I have only ever seen two. One is owned by a friend who received it as a wedding present in the mid 1960′s. She had no idea that it was Wembleyware or its value until I enlightened her! The other was in an Antique shop, it was badly damaged, one wing completely cracked through…. asking price for this one $1000.00!

  • Hi Tony
Yes they both have the wembley ware marking on the bottom of them. I am really interested if there is a market for sale of these?
    Cheers
    Mollie

  • Hi Mollie a pair of bookends like yours sold on ebay a few weeks ago.
Being in a colour they should bring you $650 upwards although it depends on how many bidders there are.
    Good luck with your sale.
